Fans from the very start

We're Monika and Norbert Bliesze, the people behind heat it® NZ.

We live in Papamoa and love being outdoors, whether that's hiking, surfing, golfing, camping, or exploring New Zealand with our two daughters. Like many families here, we know how quickly insect bites can interrupt a good day outside.

When we discovered heat it®, it quickly became part of our own outdoor kit. Small, reusable, and always on the keyring, it offered a practical way to treat insect bites without creams, sprays, or extra packaging.

That's why we decided to bring heat it® NZ to Aotearoa New Zealand. Our aim is simple: to help more people feel prepared when bites happen, so they can spend more time enjoying the outdoors.

Made in Germany

heat it® was developed in Karlsruhe, Germany, by four engineering students and first launched in 2020.

Since then, the product has continued to evolve, with new product generations, app updates and ongoing improvements in everyday usability. Today, heat it® is still developed and manufactured in-house by Kamedi GmbH in Karlsruhe.

Now available in many countries around the world, heat it® is brought to Aotearoa New Zealand by heat it® NZ, helping people stay prepared when insect bites happen outdoors.
